Co-Founder / Hubby eSIM
Boris Bijlstra left one of the world's most prestigious consulting firms to solve a problem every traveller knows - arriving somewhere new and immediately scrambling for connectivity. As Co-Founder of Hubby eSIM, he's building the infrastructure that makes that scramble a thing of the past.
Hubby partners with airlines, tour operators, OTAs, and loyalty programmes to embed global connectivity directly into the travel experience reaching millions of travellers worldwide before they've even packed their bags.
Boris spent his early career at McKinsey & Company advising global businesses on growth strategy and digital transformation. But rather than optimise other people's visions, he set out to build his own, founding Hubby with the conviction that connectivity should be a seamless part of travel, not an afterthought.
The industry took notice. Boris has been named on both the Travolution Rising Stars and 30 Under 30 lists, recognised for his role in shaping the next generation of travel technology.
On stage, Boris brings the rare combination of strategic rigour and hard-won startup experience. He speaks on entrepreneurship, building businesses in ambiguous environments, and the future of travel tech, drawing on lessons from scaling Hubby and forging partnerships with some of the world's leading travel brands. He has spoken at World Travel Market, the ITT Conference, Travolution events and at universities and entrepreneurship forums across the industry.
In 2026 Boris will be speaking at three events in Asia, including Shanghai and Tokyo, focused on airlines and travel technology, reflecting his global reach.
